Welcome to another double week blog!
September 17 was a Harvest moon supermoon. I caught a couple photos below.
Mike and I tried 5th Quarter Bar & Grill in Verona. It was a really cool place! I had the buffalo chicken wrap and Mike had the mushroom and swiss burger.
Over the weekend, I visited Monroe for Green County Cheese Days. I stopped at Trouvaille Coffee in New Glarus to start my day.
I helped break the record for the World's Biggest Polka. I waited 2 hours for the cheese tent and upon exiting, it starting raining. I still watched the cheese curd eating contest before heading out.
The next weekend, we enjoyed the Oktoberfest parade in LaCrosse. I felt a little mischievous wearing Twisted Tea earrings while drinking Hoop Tea. My favorite float was for the World's Largest 6 pack, but I may be a little biased.
After the parade we had a classic LaCrosse lunch of Coney Island Station chili dogs.
Happy Trails!
